I'm sat making a head for a Halloween costume. What are you doing?

7 days post op hysterectomy so I'm doing fuck all. Might go to the toilet a few times for a wee. And might do a bit of crocheting.

FrankenCat that sounds pants. Are you comfortable? How long are you likely to be out of action?

Yeah I was only in hospital one night. I'm comfy. The pain is really good now, in fact I'm on less painkillers now than I was on before my op. I can't drive for 8 weeks (another 7 now). I did go on a short stroll to the corner shop yesterday with DS 14 as my chaperone. I had to rest on a grit bin walking back up the hill but it was nice to get out in the fresh air. It's raining today so I won't be going anywhere.

Currently eating sweets with a cat on my lap.
I have a to do list as long as my arm but it’ll be the only time with no around that I can do whatever the fuck I want.

Currently sat eating a double choc chip cookie on the sofa, just put a load of washing on and I need to do a bit of house work. Had a tooth taken out yesterday and in a bit of pain this morning, waiting for the painkillers to kick in so I'm feeling a little sorry for myself

Day 1 of annual leave. Am still in bed catching up on my book I haven’t had time for with work. Thinking about getting up to make coffee and breakfast.

Then need to book doctors appointment. Hoping to get the ball rolling on my coil being removed so we can start TTC

Currently bf dc3 to sleep. Other DC are at school, Dh is at work.
Already done the sheets and wiped bathrooms over.
Got to put in some laundry once dc3 is asleep, then I intend to drink tea and sit around feeling sorry for myself as I currently have sinusitis.
Walk in the sunshine once baby wakes later and then to get middle DC from school (older DC walks).
Trick or treating this evening!

Got to plant out my spring bulbs!!

Cutting it fine as usual. But I have a very keen 17 yr old to help me so all is good. Halloween baking and some online Xmas shopping

DC have gone out for the day with a relative, so tidying up, ironing, hopefully also time for reading, listening to music (yesterday I put on one song while I was in the kitchen, they loudly banged toys together in the next room so I couldn't hear it)

Currently drinking tea with a Chihuahua asleep on my lap. My friend and his partner have just bought their first home so heading out to help them paint later. Followed by pizza for tea!

Despite injuring my knee and supposedly resting i shall mainly be driving DD & DS around as they have appointments at the dentist, opticians & doctors. Busy trying to fit everything into half term!

Steam cleaning my kitchen so it will be easier to wipe down /polish for when mother comes for Xmas.

Gutting back bedroom for the same reason.

Going to work this afternoon .

Then tomorrow stripping and decorating the dining room for the above reasons.

My mum is like mrs bouquet 😒

I'm on annual leave but am heading to a team lunch then back to take ds to a little Halloween party.

Currently though I have just returned for the shop and am enjoying ds snoozing in my arms

Heading into town at lunchtime for a much needed eye test! Then going to look around the shops at the Christmas bits that are out

Stop at the supermarket on the way back then an early ish night as I've got an appointment early tomorrow morning.😩

Today I officially leave my sickbed of three days
I’m celebrating with a nice bath and a touch for health session this afternoon.
Might see my daughter and family tonight depending on what they are doing.
It’s been rough but it’s lovely to be back in the land of the living

After spending 11 hours in a&e and being sent home last night, they told me to return this morning. I’m here, 2 hours in hoping it’s better than yesterday. Feel horrendous tbh. DD is on holiday with her friend and family (mum is also my friend) DH is at work and I’d imagine dogs are trashing the place. Keep your fingers crossed it’s not as bad as yesterday!

Omg...11 hours in a and e is enough to make anyone feel ill.

Was it nothing you could have treat at home.
( otherwise they could’ve kept you in I’m thinking)

Working. Til 5. Then going home and resting so I can do the same again tomorrow.

Nothing much, I'm on sick leave with hg and I alternate pottering round the house with lying down and mumsnetting when I get dizzy.
DS is at nursery until 5.45 when DH will pick him up.
Then after tea they'll go trick or treating and I'll answer the door to any DC who come. Am looking forward to it! They are always cute.

Sadly not, I have a problem with my brain and needed an MRI to check it hadn't developed and needed emergency surgery. they would have kept me in but no beds available apparently. I was there 10 hours the following day, had MRI and problem identified but thankfully the blockage was clearing itself so have to go back every couple of days for a follow up. And my back has gone into spasm after so long waiting on the various A&E beds. I'm not having a good week!

We had a quiet day. DH is away to help get his DM mobile again. She is in a rehab and he will be there every day to assist with exercises etc.
DD prepared homework for uni and of course vodafone was down most of the time. She was afraid she could not load it up in time but it worked in the end.
I spent the day reading and NOT eating chocolate or cake.

Vacuuming the basement
Removing a fridge from the basement
Putting new secondhand fridge in the basement
Buying an iPhone 11 and stroking it a lot
