4 year old wanting to wee constantly

My 4 Yr old son is refusing to drink because it causes him to instantly have the urge to wee, no UTI found but after 2 weeks he's complaining on pains around the kidney area( Dr's is a no go for him after pre school booster trauma)

Aw bless him!

Try to explain to him that drinking water helps flush out anything unhealthy in his bladder and not to worry if he keeps weeing for now.

I'm glad tests for UTI were negative but if it continues, ie the pain around the kidneys, he does need to see a specialist. I do hope it just rights itself but it may not.

The Eric website is great for toilet related advice.

But if he has pains in the kidney area I'd take him to the GP whether he likes it or not. Developing kidneys should be looked after- there is risk of permanent damage if they're not.

Take him to the Gp. See another doctor if he didnt like the last one.

Bride him to cooperate. DS i mean, not the doctor.

That warrants a doctors trip. I treat at home in the early stages (I.e. insisting they drink loads of water) but I wouldn't be messing around once it's reached the stage of kidney pain. He's 4. Carry him in.
