Too bloody late! About ten thirty in general. She gets up fine though so I suppose she must be managing ok.

At just 12 it was 9, nearly 13 it's 930 . She has to leave for school at 745 , and has a db 5 to wake her up!
Holidays the same or she is foul!!

Between 9-9.30 although she is often awake later. DH wakes her at 7 and she's fine at getting up, weekends she stays in bed longer and I suspect she reads late with a torch.

around 10/10.30 on a school night, up for 7.45. in the holidays i let him regulate his own sleeping pattern, so it’s normally to bed late and up late. it works for him so that’s good enough for me.

Mumof3cherubs · 30/10/2019 23:31

Just turned 12 goes up from 8pm likes to chat, faff, occasionally read, lights out just after 9pm on a school night, otherwise 9:30pm .

Ohyesiam · 30/10/2019 23:48

9.39-10 on a school night, up at 7.15. His 15 year old sister is often in bed with lights out at 9 while he waltzes round the house.

Titsywoo · 30/10/2019 23:53

9.30 on a school night and 10.30 in the holidays

RedSoloCup · 30/10/2019 23:55

10 every night

KitchenDancefloor · 31/10/2019 00:06

In bed by 9pm, up at 6.30am on school days.

Later both ends of the day on weekends and holidays.

Needs an occasional earlier night towards the end of term.

10 school night
Kind of whenever on holidays. Generally 11 Ish.. Sometimes later.
But if he's being mouthy or rude then a nice 9pm night school or holidays.
Every so often it catches up in him. And results in an early night but not too often

My daughter is 9, year 5 , 10 in February and she goes to sleep about 10.30pm which is late considering she is up at 7.30/7.45am for school.

HarrietSchulenberg · 31/10/2019 00:31

School night: goes upstairs at 9, faffs about for ages, finally ready and in bed by 9.30-9.45. Asleep pretty soon afterwards.
Holiday: anytime between 9.30-11 if doesn't have to be up in the morning. Did the occasional midnight when watching a film or camping in summer holidays.

Elbowedout · 31/10/2019 01:55

Mine are all older but when they were 12 they went to bed at about 9pm on a school night. A little later in the holidays but almost always before 10 except on special occasions.

isabellerossignol · 31/10/2019 01:59

My daughter is 13 and there's no way she'd be ready for bed at 9pm, she's only finishing her homework by that time, and needs a bit of a wind down before bed. 10pm or 10.15pm on a school night.

At holidays and weekends she can stay up as late as she wants because she doesn't need to get up in the morning.

About half nine. He’s allowed to read for a bit.
