What to do in London this weekend

I’ve read lots of these threads when they come up and always want to do all the things mentioned but even from the most recent thread the exhibitions have all changed etc

So I need your recommendations! DP and I are in London from Saturday-Sunday without the DC. We like modern art, music, parks, outdoors, mooching in nice areas. Our most recent London trip we did Borough Market, Marylebone High Street and the Wellcome Museum.
What shall we try this weekend?

Tate modern. Southbank. Indoor boat trip from Tate to Greenwich. Where are you staying. Some buses are re routed due to protesters.

Greenwich park is lovely - and the Maritime museum is good. We saw the exhibition about the moon there, and enjoyed it, but not sure if it's still on.

Or Primrose Hill and a walk along the canal?

We’re staying in Finsbury Square.

Thank you for all the suggestions so far!

If you're in finsbury square you could easily get to The Barbican centre. They have lots on if you Google it.they have an outdoor space with fountains and places to eat. You're also near st Paul's, The millenium bridge which leads to The Tate Modern. The other side of Finsbury Sq will take you to Islington with loads of independent shops an outdoor antique market and restaurants.

There'll be several fireworks events this weekend.

The hayward gallery on the southbank have a Bridget Riley retrospective that has just started.

ICA is cheap (about a fiver) and usually has avant garde, wacky and interesting exhibitions on.

Free fireworks in Blackheath on Saturday night which are excellent.

Somerset House which is lovely has an exhibition about our hectic modern life (24/7) through artworks which I've heard is very interesting

Lots of great ideas here:

Regent Street Motor Show is on Saturday, prior to the London to Brighton vintage car rally on Sunday. It’s fascinating.
