Anyone fancy a holiday finding challenge?!

Self catering
Access to indoor pool
Access to hotel facilities a bonus
Wood burner
Good few things to do in surrounding area

Not Crieff Hydro or wooden chalets
Scotland / Wales / Ireland / Northern England.

Not most of the uk?

hopeishere · 30/10/2019 20:54

Sorry that should be Scotland / Wales etc all ok - but not south east / cornwall / Devon as they're too long a drive!

Auchrannie, Isle of Arran. Ticks all the boxes!

Some of the cottages at Beech Farm have a wood burner. www.beechfarm.com

Lusty Beg Island in Fermanagh https://www.lustybegisland.com/en/?utmsource=google&utmmmedium=organic&utmcampaign=KnowledgeeGraph

Beacon Hill Farm near Morpeth should tick all your boxes. Not a hotel but has spa on site.

Goricki19 · 31/10/2019 06:31

I second lusty beg it’s a lovely break away! If going that direction I hear Ross harbour is equally nice www.booking.com/hotel/gb/rossharbour-resort.en-gb.html

It sounds like you're describing Center Parcs!

BikeRunSki · 31/10/2019 06:49

Filey?

TheWildRumpyPumpus · 31/10/2019 06:53

We had some great holidays at Clydey Cottages in Pembrokeshire when our kids were younger.

hopeishere · 31/10/2019 07:22

Thanks! Some great ideas here.

Definitely not looking at centre parks - so expensive!!!

I've not done a clickyljnk before but Breamish Valley Cottages near Alnwick in Northumberland are gorgeous.

They don't have a hotel but tick all your other boxes. Also if you like cycling the immediate area is good and fairly flat even though it's near hills and coast of course.
