My friend lent me their carpet cleaner as mine could really do with a clean. I was 38 weeks pregnant (seemed like a good idea and all that
...)

DS is now 13 months old and I still havent done it. So today at 4.30 I came up with the genius of doing it. No instructions so I winged it. I thought it was a bit crap.

I didnt realise I needed to fill it with plain water as well as detergent. I have no idea why I didn't. OBVIOUSLY that's what it needed. DS's bedroom was so strong smelling it would have knocked him out.

So I rinsed and rinsed. Now he has a wet carpet which smells a bit like old dog. So I have been desperately rubbing with towels to dry ut before he goes to bed.

And to cap it all off I cant work out how to take the damn thing apart to clean it.

Complete cock up from start to finish.

Anyone want to make me feel better? I feel like a fucking idiot. I'm normally quite sane, really I am.

Had a row with another department head at work, then promptly scraped his car reversing out of the car park. Oops.

Parked too close to a very unyielding bush at the cinema, told DH it was fine that I couldn’t get the driver door closed, I’d just reverse a bit for space. Yanked the hinges off in the bush. He had to sit behind me and hold the door closed en route home. 😳 Cost obscene amounts of money/time to fix.

Scraped my front bumper really badly reversing onto the drive where I have lived for 16 years this week. It’s bad. 😢

Tried to dismount as I arrived back at the yard, got caught on god knows what, was hanging on sideways while I disentangled myself, causing friend’s horse to spook, friend was pissing herself. On another very tall horse, I forgot to check the girth, stepped into the stirrup, found myself very quickly looking up at his belly. Bless him, he just looked a bit surprised. 😳
