Please recommend an XBox game for me

I rarely, if ever play computer/console games but when I do I really enjoy it! I'm currently playing Borderlands 3 with DH, we have really enjoyed games 1 and 2. I have played Buffy I think on xBox a number of years ago and completed it.

With that sort of graphic and game play in mind can anyone recommend a solo game I can play? I am absolutely HOPELESS at maps, jumping in game, puzzle type quests which rules out something like Tomb Raider. I really enjoy kicking the crap out of bad guys and really don't like sci-fi type, eg Halo.

I was thinking maybe Call of Duty?

Google 'games like borderlands', grab some titles and then search for some gameplay on Youtube and see if it looks like your sort of thing.

Diablo III was a game myself and my DH played together and enjoyed, we are also playing Borderlands 3 at the mo.

Bloodstained is amazing.
It is the only game I have ever completed and done 100% of the map.
I am shocking at games but this was challenging but very much manageable. I totally recommend it!

Fall out! Any and all of them. Also is Borderlands 3 any good? I got ridiculously stuck towards the end of pre sequel and have been scared off.
