We'll be in Dundee this weekend and was thinking it might be an idea to reserve a table for food. It's been a long to since we've been so it looks like a lots changed since. I'm vegetarian so needs to have tjat option. We'll be staying at the Malmaison so somewhere near there would be ideal. Thanks!

There is an absolutely brilliant Lebanese restaurant called Tahini

Also a pizza place called Mozza which I think are the best pizzas I've ever eaten.

TonTonMacoute thank you! I've read a lot about Thahini but from what im reading it says you don't chose your dishes? Is this right? We love Lebanese so would to give there a go. We also love pizza so that's a good shout!!

I agree you must try Tahini. You don’t pick your dishes but you say beforehand if your vegetarian or if you have any other preferences. They bring out about 5 courses. It is amazing and I can’t recommend it enough. Booking essential though.

The V and A has a lovely restaurant upstairs, I would say more for lunch though

Tahini is excellent, but it doesn’t open on Sundays so you might want to go there on Saturday. The winepress is very nice for a glass of wine (as it says on the tin) and light dishes/ nibbles. There is a nice Japanese restaurant too, near the modern art museum and university, but I can’t remember what it was called...

I think Tahini sounds like a winner!! We're going to pop in to a place called The Underdog as they all all vegetarian and the burgers look great!! I think I've read about the Japanese place, but the reviews didnt sound promising.

Oshibori is good Japanese food
Yy to wine press but that's more lunch/snacks. Like a Mediterranean platter
Meat Platter etc

Actually the food in Malmaison is very good!

That's strange about the review s. It was fab when I went

HeronLanyon · 30/10/2019 05:16

This is making me want to go to Dundee !

Horehound · 30/10/2019 05:20

Ohhh thought of another... Castle hill
GO THERE!

Plump82 · 30/10/2019 06:39

Looked up CastleHill. Menu looks delicious but my partner wouldnt i dont think.

I'm really looking forward to visiting again. Last time we were there the Malmaison was just opened. We checked the menu but £17 for a burger seems steep!!

I'm going to call Tahini later. Fingers crossed there's availability.

Thanks for everyone's suggestions btw.
