Date Night Ideas

Hate the phrase ‘date night’ but can’t think of a better way to say it.

For various reasons, DH and I have drifted apart a bit. He works away a lot during the week and I’m left at home working, looking after DC’s, dogs and house and generally feeling a bit resentful that he’s out in the evenings with his workmates whilst I’m ferrying DC’s about or having a homework battle! I know my underlying resentment makes me a bit stand offish when he is at home.

I’ve decided for DH’s Christmas present I’m going to organise 20 dates for 2020 to try and bring us a bit closer together again.

Any suggestions would be gratefully received. Happy to throw a bit of money at it but not sure I can stretch to 20 weekends away!

Have you heard of A to Z dating? The idea is to start at A with something like art class, then B (bowling), C (cinema) through to Z.

Enough for one a fortnight, doesn't have to be expensive at all, just different and out of a rut.

Ooo. Thanks Stronger. I’ll get my thinking cap on. Stuck on E!
