Electric shower

Has anyone had an electric shower fitted (not replacing an old one)?

Daft questions but did they have to channel out for wiring and replanted? How much did the labour cost?

From memory it cost about £260 extra for an election shower to be added to a project instead of bath shower mixer ( as I didn't want guests to run out of hot water for shower ) so this was appliance and extra labour/ materials .
