I want to feed 16 adults and kids

Don't want to faff around too much. What can I do?

Green jelly with plastic bugs in. Cheese fingers with flaked almond nails. Roast pumpkin. Cheese cut into ghost shapes with raisin eyes. Green or red smoothie. Sandwiches cut into spooky shapes. Toffee apples.

Crisps like Monster Munch or Cheese puffs (maggots/witches toes)
Red Leicester cheese slices cut into Halloween shapes (if you have a set of cutters - stars are fine if no bats, cats, etc)
Chopped veggies around swamp dip (homous with pesto in)
Mini mozzarella balls with olives (eyeballs)
Bat pasta ( Bows shapes in pesto)
Jacket potatoes
Large thin pizzas cut into pumpkin shapes (again, if you have some cutters)
Jelly with bug sweets on top
Mint choc chip ice cream
Loads of sweets

Or if using cutters is too much faff then lots of big pizzas and just make a quick spider out of a chopped olive and put a couple on top of each pizza... (ketchup spiderweb drawn into after cooking optional 👻)

Wevebought halloween cupcakes from Tescos at a reasonable price. And plan to have biscuits and iciing they can do themselves as an activity for spiders erc.

Marshmallowes with 2 eyes drawn on look like ghosts. Or half a banana with 2 chocolate drops. Peeled satsumas with a sweet on top to look like a stalk look like pumpkins.

Ooh you need "Ghost Toast" ( I used to make for my dc )

Cut a gingerbread man shape out of white slice . Toast the outer bit . Put the white 'ghost' back in the space .

Ta - Da . Halloween Grin

Ghost toast sounds ace!

Google for meringue bones.

theoldtrout01876 · 28/10/2019 23:12

chunky cat barf
It does look like cat barf, but it tastes pretty good and the kids love it

MegaClutterSlut · 28/10/2019 23:30

'Severed zombie fingers' basically hot dogs with a nail shape cut out of the end to look like fingers

sashh · 29/10/2019 03:17

Tesco do platters of food, that's the easiest.

Home made pumpkin soup, bread and cheese
Hot dogs for the children
Apple crumble and custard
Home made toffee
Gosh, am fantasising about a party now!

TheDuchessofDukeStreet · 29/10/2019 04:05

Oh, and green and orange jellies for the children.
