Pain when I push on my abdomen

My lower abdomen is agony when touched. I pushed it a bit and screamed, it was so sore. H thinks it's just wind? Could it be just wind? Really hope it's nothing more sinister Sad

Doesn't sound like wind. Wind is not agony, usually.

Any particular side?

ifhink · 27/10/2019 20:29

I'd probably go to ED with this!

Worse when pushed in or when released? I believe worse when released is typical of appendicitis.

ifhink · 27/10/2019 20:47

@SwiftAnchor pushed, relief when released

Could be appendicitis. Could also be constipation. I'd probably try a walk in centre.

Northernsoullover · 27/10/2019 21:05

Appendicitis starts in the middle iirc. It might not be but please ring 111.

QueenBlueberries · 27/10/2019 21:08

when did you last have a poo? When I had appendicitis it started in the middle just below belly button then moved on to the right, but other posters are right, one of the tests is that they press on your tummy and release quickly, and the pain is at its worst when released. Any sign of temperature?

ifhink · 27/10/2019 21:09

About an hour ago @QueenBlueberries. No temp.

Ok I was thinking it could be bad constipation but maybe not. It could be something like polyps that could be enlarged or infected. Appendicitis is more common in people under the age of 21 I believe I had mine at 28 and was told I was a bit old for that!!! I'd say call 111 and they should be able to give you more guidance
