Wee-soaked car seat

VaguelySkeletal · 27/10/2019 17:38

A child wet himself in our car, and completely soaked the seat. The actual seat of the car, not a child seat.

How do I deal with this? Is it a dealership service job? The car is less than a year old.

Can you borrow a carpet cleaner from someone? If not give it a good scrub with upholstery cleaner.

Dr beckmans carpet cleaner, in the bottle with the brush

Once you blotted all the liquid up with kitchen towel then spray anti bac spray

Once dry follow up with the dr beckmans

To get urine smell from a matress i sprayed white vinegar on it, then soaked it up with kitchen towell (a couple of tines) then sprinkled loads of bicarb on it and left it overnight, then hoovered that up.

I cant tell you if that will ruin the fabtic on your car seat though.

Dr Beckmans carpet cleaner. I use it all the time to clean car seats. Then just make people sit on a towel in that pace for a few days.

If you don't want to clean it yourself just take it to a normal valeting place.

Once its clean. Get some puppy pads to put under your child to protect the seat. I'd try scrubbing with dish soap or try hire a carpet cleaner to used a few times. X
