Having some family over for drinks, nibbles and dinner - I’m thinking of doing a load of homemade pizzas, big macaroni cheese and maybe some other bits... Any suggestions?

Pizza and macaroni cheese is a strange one-I’m not sure macaroni cheese is really a buffet food.

I’d probably just stick with pizza and things that go with it, like dough balls or garlic bread, corn on the cob and salad.

Something non carby.

Salad?

A buffet dinner where people will be eating at a table or off their knees? Or literally finger food?

Definitely a big salad.

It’s more of a drinks thing so looking for carby food to soak it up

Eating off their knees but table seats will be there

My friend does this a lot & finds the following works best in winter: macaroni cheese, a chilli and a curry... Plus rice and nam bread. She then does pizza for kids plus salad and dips. Seems to work
