Printer for uni suggestions please?

Any recommendations? It’s for Xmas for my niece. She will be carrying it back so not too heavy it expensive

Just this weekend I have setup this for my DD.
Did quite a bit of research as we wanted to be able to connect to her pc with a cable not just Wi-fi. Prints fast and cleanly and cheaply. We didn’t want colour to keep costs down and she’s delighted. Connecting via Wi-fi can be a problem when in halls.
I was surprised with how small it is.

The cartridges are they expensive?

Not compared to buying 4 colour replacements. She’s planning on buying non branded ones but I think about £15. You get a lot of pages from each cartridge,

For ink we’ve got a subscription service from hp. The printer tells them when it’s running low and they send it out and it’s a fixed price.

I used this one for my MA and beyond for similar reasons. Heavy use! It's been fine.
