DD is away for mid term break so it's just myself and DH and the Dcats. We're having coffee before making breakfast. I'm in the mood for eggs Benedict.

We need to sort the garage today but neither of us are motivated to do it

We have 2 massive steaks that we're going to BBQ for dinner later. DH will cook the steaks and I'll do the sides. I'm thinking cheesy broccoli.

A potter around the house day for me. Think I overdid it a little yesterday gardening (up ladders, hedge trimming, trips to tip - pregnant)

Dh has done some work on laptop this am, and planning on painting fence after lunch.
I have chopped some apples picked yesterday and now in the dehydrator, have a casserole on for late lunch, now just chilling a bit. May walk somewhere later

Dh is in bed listening to the radio
Dd stayed at her friends last night
I’ve put a wash on, made a coffee and am going to have pancakes for breakfast
Need to pop to Costco before I pick Dd up then home to do some chores/homework
Dh at work later so myself and Dd are having a Chinese takeaway tonight and will probably watch a film

Just baking a red velvet cake for my oldest dd 14th birthday - she will be back at lunch so cutting it fine! Then doing a birthday tea for family coming over later. Also no school here tomorrow so no faffing with uniforms. I've still got work but was off last week in Portugal for a week so can't complain :-)

Staying in today. I just had a lovely breakfast of berries, Greek yoghurt & homemade granola & am now working on knitting a blanket for DD, DH will be packing some of his stuff later (we're moving soon, hopefully), & we are all trying to keep warm as the boiler isn't working properly. And general decluttering, ready to move. Toad in the hole for tea, which we all love.

All the kids’ grandparents are coming today. My side already here; mum’s in the garden, dad’s playing with DS while I put DD down. DP in the study working. When dd is finally asleep I’ll start prepping for dinner.

Just taken my train-mad 5 year old to a model train exhibition. Where I failed to get a decent cup of tea, got my feet run over by a wheelchair and answered a million questions from DS along the lines of 'where's that train going, Mummy?', 'what station is that, Mummy?' 'What type of train is that, Mummy?'. I actually paid to do this.

I think I need a glass of wine....

Spent half of this last week charging round Rome trying to fit alone the sightseeing in, so a pretty lazy weekend here. Legs need a rest. DH is finishing tiling the hall, I'll do a couple of loads of washing then watch the footi, a roast tea and early night.

My eldest was up and off early for an event (thank you family friends from saving me a day driving).
So the youngest and I did junior park run (they ran, I volunteered). Then off to a Halloween event with lots of magic stuff, superheros. Had lunch, bought books. Was declared "best day ever". Easily pleased child.

Now lazing on the sofa with my youngest. He's reading and I am watching Morse, I have a zillion chores to do but today is for lazing.

My husband is working, so a very lazy morning then went out for a walk with the kids after lunch for a hot chocolate, the river, got a book each in the charity shop. Now happily colouring in their new books. I've made that sound far too idyllic. They've fought like cat and dog and I'm sat here wondering where the heck to start with the bomb site that is my kitchen.

Spent the morning meal planning and shopping, then did a bit of work for school. DD is tidying her room and DS is is messing around on his phone. Pretty sure DH and DD have nits and probably all of us so DH has gone out to get some head lice stuff and the rest of the day will be combing and washing hair.

Beef stir fry and noodles for dinner though.

Been feeling very poorly for a few days.
Cold,upset stomach and a water infection.
OH says come and sit on the sofa instead of lying upstairs in bed.
So I get up strip the bed and have a shower.
Sitting on the sofa with the fire on and OH keeps disapearing....so I cant rest because I have to keep getting up to put more logs on the fire.
I just want to go back to bed but I will have to get the energy to make it up first .
Sorry just having a moan.

Myself dd9 dd5 went to see Adams family at the cinema, hubby and ds11 stayed at home playing x box. Now about to have a Sunday roast, great relaxing day.
