Downsyndrome test

Hi there, I'm new to this. I Just found out i have a 1 in 88 chance of my baby having downsyndrome. My ultrasound measurment looked fine and I am only 25 so all should be low risk there, but the blood part of my combined scan somehow made me high risk. I was wondering if anyone had any similar experiences? What does this mean about my blood?
I am 14 weeks pregnant.
Thanks in advance for any comments, i'm feeling pretty low and concerned just now

You must be feeling very worried about your baby. I was also given a high risk of having a downs baby (1 in 8) but due to measurements and age. I had a further test (CVS) which showed everything was ok but I spent the rest of the pregnancy worrying about other things that could go wrong. Have a further test if you want to know. You don’t need to make any decisions until you have the results.

@ivegotdreadfulpmttoday Thankyou for your message, 1:8 is must have been such a shock, I'm glad the other test turned out fine. I guess I just have to wait and see and do another test. Like you though, i feel it's triggered more anxiety in me about the rest of the pregnancy.
