DD(4) has just bounced out of bed singing Let It Go at top volume...

Half 4 for me. 9 month old usually gets up for the day at half 5 so knew it was coming. Doesn't make it any better though! Potteringalong - 5:02 made me laugh, every minute counts doesn't it haha

LiveatCityHall · 27/10/2019 07:02

My 6 year old came barging in at 6.50 announcing he was hungry and needed breakfast NOW! Could have been worse. DH is downstairs organising food and coffee.

Marmite27 · 27/10/2019 07:05

DC1got in our bed at 1:30am. DC2 at 4:30am. They woke up at 6:50am. Alarms due at 7am. Not too shabby.

DamnitCharlie · 27/10/2019 07:21

@NeverGotMyPuppy I'm going to try and power through till normal naptime as much as I can and it all sorts itself out within a few days.

I always try and be organised and try the whole shifting naptime and bedtime in increments the week before clock changes but life always seems to get in the way! We've had colds and nightmares this week so our sleep has been all over the place anyway.

DamnitCharlie · 27/10/2019 07:22

*hope it all sorts itself out.

RosieposiePuddingandPi · 27/10/2019 07:30

DS woke up at 4:45 and woke all of us, including the baby. DH did try valiantly to get him back to sleep as he got up three times overnight but it only lasted half an hour.
I've been up with both of them since and DH has gone back to bed, it's his turn for a lie in.

TokyoSushi · 27/10/2019 07:46

6:05 here, not too bad, fortunately they're old enough (6 & 8) to get ipads etc so apart from the noise you dont have to get up.

DH is the early riser here and was out with the dog at 6:30.

Absolutely hate autumn clock change day!

IWouldLikeToKnow · 27/10/2019 07:47

Made it to the grand old time of 3.57. Gonna be a long day. Angry

soundsystem · 27/10/2019 07:49

They should start CBeebies an hour earlier on clock change day!

^ So much this!

Me and DH kept the kids up until midnight. They woke up at 7.30. Perfect for starting school tomorrow.

roses2 · 27/10/2019 08:24

@32sproutsandparsnips did you end up working an extra hour as a shift worker? Sad

Deathraystare · 27/10/2019 08:55

Awake at 3.45 which I guess was really 2.45.as I hadn't changed time yet. Wentto loo then seemed to have a huge amount of time on my hands so made a tea then watched tv with sound down! Mind you with my sneezing and coughing I must have woken up my flat mates.

Eventually got up at 4.30 to shower and get ready for early shift.

TokyoSushi · 27/10/2019 21:52

Ugh, and now at the other end of the day I am so tired and literally waiting until around 10:15 to go to bed, otherwise I'll be awake for hours in the night if I go to bed too early.

Just leave the bloody clocks alone!
