Just for fun , if anything

OP posts:
GinUnicorn · 27/10/2019 15:40

@Corneliawildthing sorry link fail last post!

NigesFakeWalkingStick · 27/10/2019 16:24

Probably nothing, but I'm reasonably regular in SCD/Apprentice/GOT and other binge worthy tv watching (clue is in the name I guess).

On other posts I don't really participate regularly enough to establish myself as a 'particular' poster.

Corneliawildthing · 27/10/2019 22:34

Thank you GinUnicorn Smile

thecatneuterer · 27/10/2019 22:42

All things cat-related

(maybe also for being in a massive age-gap relationship which MN generally seems to frown upon).

PerkingFaintly · 27/10/2019 22:43

Definitely being a top granddad, DisgraceToTheYChromosome, but wasn't it you who described positioning your truck to some incredibly tight margin, so a giant container port crane could grab the load?

Now THAT made an impression.

Perhaps not an accurate one, but I can see very vividly this possibly false scenario!Grin

InsertFunnyUsername · 27/10/2019 22:46

Absolutely nothing. Same as a PP said I dont really remember usernames as "oh theres the arsehole" more ones that relate to a tv show etc.

JustAnotherPoster00 · 27/10/2019 22:47

Graphista I always look forward to reading what you have to say on threads I see you on

If I’m known for anything on here it’s being insulting and a loony left momentum supporting corbynista cult worshipper [eyeroll]

Cherrysoup · 28/10/2019 00:35

I think I’m too bland to make much of an impression. Maybe the banging on about a horse, I bet HHO users wonder who I am. I do when someone is on about horses.

I only remember frequent helpful posters like Fizzygreenwater and Atillathemeerkat.

ThighThighOfthigh · 28/10/2019 00:48

ssd i know you for your good work on the elderly caring boards, which i found very helpful so thanks.

I'm known for my bad cartoons of me.

RainingFrogsAndHats · 28/10/2019 00:57

I wouldn't be known under this name,, but I put up a thread once and got loads of responses, but then the thread got derailed so I stopped looking at it and it eventually died. Then some time later, I started another thread about the same issue, and was shocked by how many posters said "I remember your thread"

My third proudest moment was my favourite ever and very early on in the terminology thread about a CF maid of honour. A glorious thread, which got full so the op started a second thread. A poster on the seth read said she loved the first thread, esp ^quote post" and she quoted me. I was chuffed cos a lot of comments on that thread were v funny.

My second proudest moment ever was having one of my posts quoted in a thread titled something like "funniest thing you've ever read on here"

But my ACTUAL proudest moments being roundly told off by S+B, where they're all usually so nice.

Sadly, all under different names, so I'm not known for any of them. But v proud nonetheless unsubtlestealthboasting

InkyFANGERSInkyFace · 28/10/2019 01:10

I change my name constantly. I've only hung onto this one because I posted on the Halloween name thread. Which I'll never win, so I'll probably name change in the next day or so.

I have no idea if anyone knows which usernames are all mine.

AintNobodyHereButUsChickens · 28/10/2019 01:17

@AnchorDownDeepBreath I remember that! You're the poster with the hedgehog aren't you? Was the mystery of the christmas dinner solved? I can't remember if there was a conclusion or not...

BadSun · 28/10/2019 01:32

I think the site is too sprawling with too many members for many posters to be notable these days

Agreed. I've been here for about 4 years now and while there are a few usernames I recognise (although not actually that many), I don't feel like I know anything specific about the personality or posting style of those users. I just recognise their username!

confusedandemployed · 28/10/2019 01:37

Nothing. If anything, for having rather un-MN views on most things.
@Grobagsforever I remember your thread about your DH. I'm sure it's a daily uphill struggle but I'm so pleased to know that, on the whole, you're managing.

Unluckyinlove2019 · 28/10/2019 01:56

I'm not known for anything on here, as far as I know. But what what I do find interesting, is how my name changes and favourite songs have developed over the last few years having gone through the worst time in my life,

I only hope that I've offered valuable advice to women and/or a woman that's been in a similar position and came through the other side.

This site is a continuous learning journey for me, and as much as I've got myself on an even keel I think I'll always rely on it for one reason or another

sashh · 28/10/2019 02:44

My early morning cafe. Which btw has been open for 15 mins so the toast is ready, tea is mashing and coffee is in the pot.

PenelopeFlintstone · 28/10/2019 02:47

Killing threads. Sorry in advance. Ha ha 😂

I don’t know what I’m known for. Do you recognise my username?

MonChatEstMagnifique · 28/10/2019 03:22

Nothing, I haven't been using this name for very long. I should probably change name again but I'm quite attached to this one as it's very true.

I generally don't remember usernames unless their views seem particularly similar or extremely different to my own. I think I'd be really good friends with a couple of people on here as I always agree with them, although I often don't bother commenting after them as they've literally said what's in my head. I do remember someone if I think they are a special type of arsehole. There's a few about.

OneHanded · 28/10/2019 03:28

Probably being an annoying fuckwit!

Bloodybridget · 28/10/2019 03:48

I've been on MN for a very long time, but didn't used to post that much as I don't have DCs, so wouldn't have been known at all. Now due to life events this year I post a lot on one thread, so am known there and getting to know other posters quite well, which is nice!

Shoxfordian · 28/10/2019 05:51

Mostly for saying ltb on the relationships threads and on aibu like @AnotherEmma who I have seen saying similar things.

ThePawtriarchy · 28/10/2019 05:59

Nothing as am a long term but regular name changer. I did once say that people seemed to be ‘professionally offended’ and since then have seen it a million times and got annoyed myself by it. So probably good that I’m not known for it Grin

7to25 · 28/10/2019 10:06

Boring posts about curtains and Roman blinds.

Grobagsforever · 28/10/2019 12:44

@confusedandemployed - thank you. I'm largely doing great. Both DD's doing well, had some great adventures, ups and downs. We have a very wide network of wonderful friends and I have a supportive new DP.
