Anyone been? Do I need lots of warm clothes?

Any restaurant recommendations?

10 years ago the thought of going to "winter pensioner land" wouldn't have appealed to me, but I guess we've got to that age!

be aware it is on the greener=wetter part of the island - the part where all the real towns are. Generally cloudier but not always - I've had long trips to southern Tenerife with lots of cloud, although as it is off the African coast it is still warm and high UV.

warmer clothes for evening, pleasant 20 degrees-ish daytime.

enjoy! And the pensioners don't generally scream all night, throw up in the streets or make a nuisance of themselves. They are great holiday companions. :-)

Thank you! Yeah we're prepared for it to be cooler, hotel has indoor and outdoor heated pool so we don't mind it not being hot.

I feel like we fit in better with pensioners than young people these days and we're only late 30s. Grin

Which hotel are you staying at? I’m looking for somewhere warm for December.

I've booked Puerto Palace.
