Can I fix a leaking radiator without draining it?

@pigletjohn or anti who can help!
Ds7 pulled my bathroom radiator off the wall in a tantrum. Now it’s leaking from both valves.
The valves are on the bottom of the radiator. I’ve turned the water off (an hour and a half ago) but it’s still dripping.
I’m scared to try tightening the valves in case it makes things worse (unless you advise it?). I have solder, a blowtorch and plumbers tape etc (kitchen fitter left them when he walked out this morning leaving the job half finished... but that’s another story!)
I’m nervous about draining the system as I don’t see how I can without flooding the bathroom.
Any advice?
