Anybody worked from home?

Hi, I've seen a work from home opportunity and I'm thinking of applying although I have little experience of call handling work I think I do have the skills required.

The hours available could be worked around the kids and I do have the space to set up and office.

I'm just wondering if anyone has experience of WFH and whether they would recommend it. The hours are stated on the job advert so are fixed eg. 7-11pm mon-fri so it maybe isn't quite as flexible as I'm imagining it to be Grin

I WFH. I am also ill but luckily can pick my own hours.
The money is dire and my employer crapita cheeky and takes the piss.

If I could pick my own hours I'd be applying right now! There are a choice of hours but I'm trying to avoid weekend working so I'm left with mon to fri 7-11pm.

The pay is reasonable really. It's just over 9k pa for 20 hours a week.

My role was commuted from office based to HW so I saw the drop in money Grin
I'm lucky I can still work a bit but be ready for everyone to assume you do fuck all every day and be on tap for employer or anyone else plus you become the streets parcel depot Angry

I wouldn't assume flexibility. Not unusual to have to agree software on your computer to monitor your performance.
