NC for this.

Asking here out of desperation for a recommendation for a trauma counsellor/EMDR counsellor in Bristol or nearby.

Any suggestions? Thank you

I can probably help with one but I'm not back in work for a week.
Have you googled?

Are you fixed on EMDR or would you consider NLP?

If so I can recommend someone?

SkinnyLatteForMe · 26/10/2019 08:41

@Ledkr yes I have, but I don't know where to start. There seem to be a few options, but they vary enormously in terms of prices, backgrounds, some aren't registered on BACP etc so I don't know if they are ok or not. I feel a bit overwhelmed by trying to choose (recognise that's one of my difficulties anyway!)

@CommonCockchafer I don't know much about NLP, but if you have a recommendation I think that would be helpful. At the moment I am considering EMDR because I've read it can be helpful for trauma, but a recommendation for someone would probably be more useful than me blindly choosing something that I think might be suitable for me.
