Evening all. Ds14, has asked to watch, the usual suspects. I watched it years ago, so had a quick look on Amazon, and its rated 18! I really don't remember it being that bad....it just because its quite an old film, so the rating is probably a bit dated?

It's a while since I watched it but it's one of my favourites

Lots of swearing, lots of violence and death

Isn't there a bit with severed body parts?

Can't remember any sex though.

I'm pretty sure the violence would be tame, compared to today's films..

I remember recommending it to my dad as a film he would enjoy and he was horrified by how much swearing there was!

Thanks for that! It would seem, the classifications range from 2+-18+ It appears that the swearing, might be the reason for the 18 cert.....

Great film. A classic. I don’t think it was too bad for a youngster to watch.
