We've arrived for a family event tomorrow, and wondered where we can get a bite to eat tonight? Would rather avoid chains. A traditional boozer with food would be great, but open to anything good.

Try the Jolly Roger pub in Priddys Hard

Same suggestion as Queen. I had to go there for work and we had a lovely dinner there, It's a really nice pub.

It’s not the best place get the ferry to gunwharf go to loch fyne

Osborne view at hill head or Wyvern in Lee on Solent. Both good pub grub in lovely surroundings. Enjoy.
