Horrendous head cold help please

Has anyone got any great home remedies for relieving head colds apart from the obvious lemsip, drink lots of water please?

Feel like my whole face is swollen and achy. Aaaarrrggghhhh, I know I'm being a snowflake but it really hurts!

Vitamin c zinc and echinacea works really well

It sounds to me like it’s in your sinuses. If you bend over does it hurt, like a pressure kind of pain?

If so try and keep your face warm (scarf over nose when you go out) and get some sinus relief stuff from the chemist. I get the sudafed one with pseudoephedrine in. Helps with the ‘omg my face feels like a rapidly expanding concrete block’ feeling.
