Hoping for some ideas and inspiration!
So.... long & boring backstory but Christmas this year is going to be just me and DH, plus our 3 teens (16, 15, 13). Nobody coming to us, not going anywhere. (We're fine with this, btw, it's just circumstance this year - no acrimony or anyone going NC). Work has been insane this year so I'm keen to have some lovely family time without everyone just vanishing off into separate rooms on screens all day every day.
I'd really like ideas for how to make it lovely and magical despite being long past the reindeer food and "has he been?!" stage.
We aren't religious, so we don't have the ceremony of a church service on which to centre the day either.
Doesn't all have to be ideas for Christmas Day - anything for days before / after would be great too.
