Recommend me something to watch on telly tonight

I've got a couple of nights alone as DH/DC are away so I want to have some v early nights watching telly in bed.

I have Netflix and Prime and love crime stories, quirky foreign films, good comedies not shit ones, literary stuff and good rom cons ( there aren't many).

Love the Staircase, Making a Murderer, Le Grand Bleu, Friday Night Dinners, Parks & Recreation, that sort of stuff.

Can you recommend anything good you've seen recently?

Dead to Me is excellent. So is Russian Doll. Both on Netflix. Strong female leads, great story lines with twists

Unbelievable on Netflix - it’s about a rape victim not being believed so upsetting but very well done. It’s true.

Money Heist series 1&2 has been the best thing I've watched in many a long year. Third series crapola though. I'm also looking for something bingeworthy so will check out some of these!

True Detective as in the Woody Harrelson and Matthew McConaughey series is on neither service because it's a HBO series and they are exclusive to Sky in the UK

If you want it on Amazon you have to pay separately for it

Sorry my fault, True Detective is on Prime.

It isn't included with Prime, you can watch it on Firestick etc but you have to purchase individual episodes or seasons separately/in addition to what you've paid for Prime

Just wanted the first episode of modern love, made me cry. Watching the second now. Thanks, don't think we watch amazon prime enough.
