My broadband company has contacted me to say that I must have a new line put in and have a new rooter, which they claim is free but are charging £9.95 delivery charge. I am out of contract but if I leave I will be charged £15.00.
Does anyone know the legality of given the fact that they can no longer provide the service I sighed up for?

I'd imagine the fact you're out of contract is their get out. The fact you're out of contract I'd imagine they're under no obligation

Sorry I misread that. If you're OOC how can they justify a leaving charge. Surely that means you're free to do as you wish.
