I hate eating soggy cereal, so always hold my bowl "tilted" in such a way that the milk pools I the bottom at one side. On holiday in France a few weeks ago, we had a salad served in a china bowl with a sloping / angled interior - the leaves didn't sit in a pool of dressing as would be with a normal flat bottomed bowl - perfect! Back home we ordered some bowls described as having sloping sides - they do indeed have sloping sides, but flat bottoms! Am I making any sense? Can anyone track down such a design?
