How much to get an American fridge freezer fixed?

Ours has broken down, the light is on but it's not cooling down, has anyone any idea how much a repair would be

I'm no expert but recently had the same issue with mine and I needed a new back panel. Repair man said it's pretty much the only thing that ever goes wrong with American FFs. It cost me £300 including VAT (north west). Hope that helps.

I had a builder install a walk-in shower and tray. On his estimate and invoice he said he would replace two rows of tiles above the tray. He didn't do this but still wants full payment. Is he in breach of contract?
He is taking me to the Small Claims Court.
I have only paid 50% Of the bill because I now have to have it redone. Where do I stand?
