You've got £500. What do you treat yourself to?

Has to be you and only you. No saving it, no paying a bill. Purely a treat.

I think for me it's a Brora cashmere scarf and some See by Chloe boots.

You?

A new tattoo, and a good haircut.

ItIsWhatItIsInnit · 22/10/2019 19:18

Silk bedsheets

HerkyBaby · 22/10/2019 19:23

A cleaner and an ironing service

S0CKS · 22/10/2019 19:40

Cashmere scarf and a handbag I have my eyes on.

AintNobodyHereButUsChickens · 22/10/2019 20:02

Do chickens count? I really want to get some chickens and £500 would get me a coop, run, food and other various bits and bobs I need.

twinnywinny14 · 22/10/2019 20:04

Dental treatment that I badly need in band 3 is £269 and then maybe something nice to cheer myself up following that

NoClueWithStyle · 22/10/2019 20:05

Counselling.
Good counselling would have such a positive ripple effect on so many areas of my life.

Waxonwaxoff0 · 22/10/2019 20:06

Weekend city break in Europe somewhere.

Spied · 22/10/2019 20:10

Big bottle of my favourite perfume.
The £200 coat I really like.
A nice haircut and colour.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 22/10/2019 20:14

A night in a hotel, with dinner and a couple of cocktails.
A Blue John necklace.
Some Neals Yard bubble bath.
A big bunch of flowers.
A massage.
A new cashmere scarf.

Danglingmod · 22/10/2019 20:15

Painting by my favourite local artist =£500

OR print of new painting by local artist = £50

Plus second linen duvet cover = £80

And 2 nights in lovely country hotel, not too far away, plus a new book = £370

EmmiJay · 22/10/2019 20:17

Once upon a time old Emmi would have bought a designer bag and matching purse maybe. Now she'd either raid the food hall at Fortnums or buy a whole bunch of kitchenware from JL. To dream...

Span1elsRock · 22/10/2019 20:21

Probably some Fairfax and Favor boots......... and a couple of nice scarves if there was any change left.

KirstyJC · 22/10/2019 20:21

A new spinning wheel.

KirstyJC · 22/10/2019 20:22

The wool type, not the exercise type!

EmeraldIsle81 · 22/10/2019 20:25

Cookery lessons and one of those gorgeous cake mixers that you see on bake off - they are expensive!

Buddyelf · 22/10/2019 20:28

So either a new wardrobe - I’ve recently lost some weight and I need some new clothes or a Dyson airwrap. I feel like it would change my life

NationMcKinley · 22/10/2019 20:28

Also a painting by a fab local artist
Some new DMs
Lots of lovely dermalogica products for my beleaguered skin

bookmum08 · 22/10/2019 20:38

Trip to Billund in Denmark.

SandrasAnnoyingFriend · 22/10/2019 20:51

Botox and some beautiful bed linen

ilovespinach · 22/10/2019 20:55

Dog Martens Chelsea Boots, a fjllraven (sp) rucksack and some new glasses.

IDespairOfTheHumanRace · 22/10/2019 20:56

An antique longcase clock - something I have always desired, but never been able to justify spending money on

Inebriati · 22/10/2019 20:57

some premium bonds. And a puppy.

safariboot · 22/10/2019 21:00

Dental treatment that I badly need in band 3 is £269

Similar here. It shouldn't be a 'treat' to not suffer toothache every single day, but for me it is.

Millie2013 · 22/10/2019 21:02

A night in a hotel to catch up on sleep. A premier inn would do fine, given that sleep would be the main aim, so no point paying out for a fancy room
With a bottle of screw top wine, a dominos, some posh bubble bath and some new PJs

I’d put the remaining money towards a new saddle for DPony
