Hi, I'm new to mumsnet and wondered if there are any community support groups in my area for homeschooling my 16yr old daughter. She suffers from social anxiety disorder and we have decided to home educate. I live in the DH4 area (Sunderland/Durham) thanks in advance 😊

Try posting on the Home Ed boards on here. (First click on the education topic on talk). I’ve found Mumsnet a great place for information over the years (even as an infrequent poster). If you don’t get a huge response on your first thread, try posting again or under a different topic.
