We've fish pie BUT it's got garlic prawns in it. They repeat something silly and I've got acid Sad so I'm after some inspiration!

Out for dinner tomorrow night, but tonight we're having sausage curry Grin. It's dh's speciality from his student days. He's a slightly more sophisticated cook these days, but it's nice to have an old favourite sometimes! I can't imagine it would do any favours for your digestion though, OP!

BethanyGilbert · 22/10/2019 16:46

We are having lamb shanks with root veg mash and veg.

Georgiemcgeorgeface · 22/10/2019 16:46

Fish curry with rice. Made with lazy paste.
Spinach and feta pie and salad tomorrow.
Chicken sausages and mash with veg Thursday.
Probs takeout Friday.

Juanbablo · 22/10/2019 16:51

Fajitas. Crispy chicken for DH and the kids. Pepper and black beans for me. I'm starving.

chrispenrallt1 · 22/10/2019 16:52

I’ve just made roast pepper and butternut squash soup and also made veggie burgers. I’ll just have the soup and a bit of cheese. Trying to eat more veggie things, and enjoy making things from scratch.
We have had a massive crop of kale in our garden this week, so I’m scouring the cook books looking to see how I can use it up!

FastAway · 22/10/2019 16:56

Aubergine and tomatoe sauce pasta with feta on top

AliceLittle · 22/10/2019 16:57

Ham, egg, chips and beans

happypotamus · 22/10/2019 17:02

Today we are having a potato curry.
Tomorrow I won't get dinner because I am at work. On work days I have a crappy microwave meal at lunch time if I am lucky. On bad days at work I don't get chance to eat anything in the 13+hrs I am there.
Thursday is my birthday and I am hoping we will go out to eat, but it isn't pay day yet so not sure about that.
On Fridays we have pizza.
Saturday is DD's 5th birthday. I asked her what she would like for dinner and she said hot dogs. As far as I know she has never had a hot dog in her life, so no idea why she suggested that but it works because vegan DH can have hot not-dogs made from vegan sausages.

moobar · 22/10/2019 17:05

It was meant to be pasta bake as shop comes tomorrow but was in m and s and they had chickens reduced to 89p so chicken pasta it has now become.

Inthemoment38 · 22/10/2019 17:10

Lentil bolegnaise defrosted from a big batch cooked a couple of weeks ago, spaghetti and cheese.

DP devastated because it was vegetarian tea last night as well.

Inthemoment38 · 22/10/2019 17:11

Bolognese! Blush

QueenArseClangers · 22/10/2019 17:11

Found some turkey mince that needed eating up lurking in the fridge. We’re having turkey and veg type of curry/keema in the instantpot. Youngest D.C. was staaaaaaarving so has had tomato soup with a ghost shaped crumpet.
Toad in the hole and veg tomorrow, quorn fillets and a massive salad Thursday and probably pizza on Friday.
Our local pub does ‘pizza o’clock’ in the week so you pay whatever time you order (3.25pm = £3.25) and they’re massive and delicious.
It’s autumnal stodgy week.

LickYouLikeACrispPacket · 22/10/2019 17:12

Lovely steak stew with carrots and shallots with mash and mange tout. Can’t wait! It’s an autumn dinner 🍴

LittleTopic · 22/10/2019 17:15

I am craving a steak and homemade chips but DH is on some sort of health kick so I am getting veggie pasta Hmm I have seen the ratio of kale to pasta and it is not good.

Have told him to put a ton of grana padano on top, the bastard.

FashionFoodLaughs · 22/10/2019 17:20

Chilli made with turkey mince, aubergine, butternut squash, peppers and kidney beans served with homemade nachos (wraps cut up and baked).

EmmiJay · 22/10/2019 17:22

Festivals, ackee and saltfish, white rice and callaloo...for me. DD is having beef cannelloni... 😒 children.

whitebowls · 22/10/2019 17:22

Macaroni Cheese

IndefatigableMouse · 22/10/2019 17:24

Chicken curry today with grated carrot in for fussy kids.

Tomorrow it’s hot smoked salmon and ‘something’ - any ideas? Again needs to include fussy kids. Was thinking of doing like salmon egg fried rice but not sure they’d go for it. One wasn’t keen on pasta with salmon and creme fraiche (plus other nice bits I’ve gotten)

PurpleDaisies · 22/10/2019 17:25

Gnocchi, pesto, olives and roast Mediterranean veg.

snowplop · 22/10/2019 17:47

Scruffy Aubergine Lasagne from Jamie O's new show. It's awesome and on its second outing in this house in the last week. Even the normally veg phobic DCs eat it. I serve it with garlic bread and a green salad.

Marmite27 · 22/10/2019 17:48

Chicken casserole, mushroom rice, broccoli and green beans.

inwood · 22/10/2019 17:57

Amazing steak burgers from my local butcher with wedges and salad

LemonBars · 22/10/2019 17:58

Chicken, chorizo, feta salad with roast baby potatoes.

Karwomannghia · 22/10/2019 18:07

We’re having crushed new potatoes with smoked salmon, asparagus, broccoli and poached egg. The kids are having oven stuff (nuggets or veggie burger), new potatoes, carrots and peas.

Nanalisa60 · 22/10/2019 18:19

Spaghetti with meat balls !! Delicious
