Hi everyone!! It’s my first post!!
So basically my daughter has woken up this morning with a rash of spots around her mouth and the most awful (open sores) nappy rash I have ever seen (I’m a nursery nurser so ive seen a lot!!). She’s never had a nappy rash ever!
We’ve been to the doctors and they’ve said it’s simply just a nappy rash and that the mouth issue is impetigo! Prescribed thrush cream for the nappy rash and cream for impetigo. Since using the cream it’s going yellow and scabby.
I’m not convinced that it’s just a coincidence that’s she has both at the same time.
There’s also hand foot and mouth going around her nursery?!?!
I’m convinced it’s herpes virus. The nappy rash now seems to be going onto her thighs too?? Any help, anyone seen this before?
