What film is this

They live as a community away from the real world
Someone manages to stumble outside of the community and finds a whole world there
They have been living like in the olden days with no modern technology etc

I thought the film was the village watched earlier isn't what i thought

What film am I thinking of?!!

I don't think its the island. Is it the one where they need to get antibiotics, there's been someone killed or attacked, the older people have retreated from real life outside but the children don't know, maybe one of the children was behind the attack?
Don't know the name but now I need to know!

From your description I immediately thought The Village - a group of people living a very simple, religious old fashioned life in the middle of a forest, they can't venture past the forest because there is something really bad in there. One of them fall very sick and they send a blind girl out to get medicine, it turns out that they are living in a fenced off, guarded area in the modern world.
