How to help a bee

For the past 3 days this little fella has been outside our front door. My DH and I keep putting him back on a leaf behind the wheelie bin where it's sheltered, but he keeps coming out. I'm assuming he is injured but could just be sleepy and confused?! Not sure whether to try feeding him some sugar water?! Keep expecting him to die and/or end up squashed by us or the postie!

Sugar water can be a huge help for bees. Well worth giving it a go. I’ve saved many a bee this way! Keeping him nice and sheltered from the awful weather will be a great help too! 🐝

Sugar water is of no help to bees.

Put it on a flower.

Ah thanks for the replies. Tomorrow I'm going to move it to the back garden and pop it on a sheltered leaf. Will try a bit of sugar water too!

I've rescued many a bee with sugar water too - lovely to see them finally fly off.
