Music Magpie for CDs

I'm trying to work out if it worth using this for my old CDs or just taking them to the charity shop. Anyone used it? Any advice?

You’ll probably get no more than 20p per CD (scan a few barcodes and see) so it’s really a question of if you can be arsed or not.

Why not MM them and give the proceeds to charity?

I’ve just done it. It’s nothing money - usually 5p, but it gets rid of them. It’s easy enough with the app you just scan them. There are plenty they won’t even take for 5p though 🤣

The psychological freedom this brings is worth it alone. Clearing out old unwanted stuff is so liberating!
