Honestly? I feel like I'm half dead. My uterus was in a state according to the surgeon. A "quick" c section turned out to be a 2 hour affair. I lost a lot of blood and at some point I almost passed out from the chest pain and general sickness.

Are you a bit anaemic due to the blood loss? I felt really weird after my second CS as I had a lot of blood loss and had to have a transfusion but got sorted with iron tablets as I was a bit anaemic. Wishing you a good recovery, take it easy, eat lots of good food, plenty of fluids and enjoy this new chapter of your life

Thank you! We're still waiting for results to see if I need more blood, tablets or IV iron. Our little baby is a complete miracle
