Just seen a post on Facebook...

OP posts:
BentNeckLady · 20/10/2019 21:37

Oh, yawn. don’t give them any more attention.

hellenbackagen · 20/10/2019 21:37

He'll be earning very well.

Passthecherrycoke · 20/10/2019 21:38

It isn’t gifted products. It’s their advertising revenue, their tv appearance fees. Do you honestly think state benefits even enter their head now?

IDrinkAndISewThings · 20/10/2019 21:39

Ignoring the whole giving birth to millions of babies part, how as a mum do you keep track of this many people? I know some of the kids are adults themselves now, but she's still got about 15 under 18 requiring actual parenting - making dentists appointments, remembering milk money, packed bloody lunches, play dates, doctors appointments, christ almighty, parents nights!!!! The level of organisation required is truly military.

£16k a month from a small bakery - yeah right

That's a cover for something else 100%

CanaryBlossom · 20/10/2019 21:40

Ah the old “they don’t claim any benefits”...

Good for them.

They’ve rinsed the NHS and education system for more money than they or their offspring will ever put back into it.

Beveren · 20/10/2019 21:43

I have 3, and honestly feel some days I don't give them all individual attention. So how does she do it?

She doesn't.

hellenbackagen · 20/10/2019 21:43

I'm 47. When I was at school 2 girls in my year had babies at 14 . Girls went out with older boys and that was the norm.

My dh (now ex) was 6 years older than me and we met when I was 16. I got married at 18 and had my first baby at 19. My dh (now ex) is as far from a bad guy as it gets. He's a salt if the earth nice bloke.

Girls mature quicker than boys and in the 80s no one batted an eyelid at having an older boyfriend. Things are very different now .

OPnameChange · 20/10/2019 21:44

Omfg! They're off their bloody rocker!!

Bonkers!! Selfish twats

lynsey91 · 20/10/2019 21:44

I'm definitely opening a bakery if it can make £16,000 a month. Not that I believe that for 1 second

Beveren · 20/10/2019 21:45

What if the parents were to die? DH and I have made provision in our will for what we’d like to happen with our DC in the event that the worst happens... who would take on 20+ kids?

They presumably expect the older ones to do it. God knows what happens if they don't want to.

hellenbackagen · 20/10/2019 21:45

Puppy it really isn't t a cover for anything. It could be making way more in actual fact .

The cost of making a bread cake is 3p

Look at what they sell for. Go look at a pack of 6 bread cakes in Tesco.

Do the maths .

lynsey91 · 20/10/2019 21:46

Sorry but in the 80's people definitely did think a young girl having an older boyfriend was wrong.

I am in my 60's and it was NEVER acceptable that a 18 year old got a 13 year old pregnant.

There was one girl in my school who got pregnant and 15 and her boyfriend was 16. They both got expelled. We were all shocked and this was in a not great part of London

OnTopOfTheWardrobe · 20/10/2019 21:47

Tesco doesn't just sell bread cakes. An independent bakery with overheads I find hard to believe makes 16k profit a month. If it does, I'm going to learn to bake right the hell now.

puppyconfetti · 20/10/2019 21:47

@hellenbackagen

Grin I did. It was a bit more complex than your example, but it tells me that this one guy isn't taking home a salary of £16k a month.

formerbabe · 20/10/2019 21:48

I've got two dc and I feel like I'm constantly at the doctors, dentists, opticians and various hospital appointments...just making sure they're organised for school takes up so much time...uniform, pe kits, lunches, school admin and homework. My ds just started secondary school and he's needed so much help and support, it's taken a huge amount of my time. I can't fathom having even one extra child, let alone the amount they have.

hellenbackagen · 20/10/2019 21:50

Well my dh boss does . 8k each per month they take .

They own a bakery and a few shops. Baking is very lucrative if you are the owner.

Beveren · 20/10/2019 21:50

Girls mature quicker than boys and in the 80s no one batted an eyelid at having an older boyfriend

Really not true.

Sagradafamiliar · 20/10/2019 21:50

I thought there was a benefit cap after three children?

Fucking hell though. She is very much in the health care system, why has no one professionally stepped in? She isn't capable of helping herself, clearly. All these pregnancies will be the death of her.

puppy23 · 20/10/2019 21:51

They might not be perfect but I've always thought they seemed like much better parents than mine were and the children seem much happier than I was growing up. Good luck to them.

puppyconfetti · 20/10/2019 21:52

@hellenbackagen

So what you said earlier about one man taking home £16k a month from a small bakery has turned into 2 people taking £8k each from a bakery AND a few shops Grin

Let's not waste any more time on this shite eh!

TurquoiseDress · 20/10/2019 21:52

Really?

Honestly who the hell needs to have 22 kids?!

I'm all for people doing what they want with their lives, but how can all their children get enough attention, helping them with their homework, having some quality time alone with mum/dad

I felt quite sorry for all their children

OnTopOfTheWardrobe · 20/10/2019 21:52

Sagradafamiliar, I'm not sure that anybody can actually stop her having children. Doctors can advise her not to have any more for her own health, they can't actually ban her or force her to have an implant/sterilisation/similar.
