Annoyed

Name changed as don't want this thread to follow me around.

Partner went out for a few drinks yesterday. This morning when he woke up he said his hand hurt and was bruised/swollen and couldn't bend his fingers very good but doesn't know what he did. So I've had to take him to A & E and the wait is 2hrs+.

We had plans for this afternoon but we are in A&E.

Would you be annoyed at this? Wwyd

Yes I'd be annoyed if he was too drunk to remember injuring himself.

If it's been a genuine accident or weird strange injury I'd feel more sympathy for him!

I'm annoyed because he doesn't remember what happened or he does but he won't say. And because we had plans today.

He does drink almost every weekend and he said he wouldn't drink much yesterday but he did as he doesn't remember

I reckon he’s had a fight! Do you actually have to be there with him? Can you not just have dropped him and collected him when he was done? The sitting around would be boring.
What were the plans you had?

I thought he mightve been fighting so he won't tell me but not sure as he isn't violent.

I've now left him there as he was telling me it hurt every 5 minutes and then he said i didn't care about him. And he said i could go if I wanted. We were going to go away this afternoon for a few days to see my family.

Yes I would be annoyed.

I’m able to feel annoyance that my afternoon plans had been scuppered as well as sympathy for the injured party!

This is without the attitude and lying you’ve updated with as well.
