What's everyone doing today?

I'm just drinking a cup of tea, have put the washer on already and am thinking about doing some of last night's washing up (cooked breakfast for tea - I couldn't be arsed to wash up!).

Dd1's eating breakfast then getting in the shower before Nanna picks her up for a sleepover.

Dd2's in bed watching Youtube. She'll spend the day here with their dad. Hopefully they'll do homework and reading!

I'll get ready for work shortly, go to work and then nip to Lidl over the road from there.

Pork loin steaks with spicy little spuds and salad for tea, probably in front of the box watching whatever randomness is on.

What about you lot? Anyone up to much?

Going on the People's Vote March. Just about to put some pants on, chase DS into his clothes and head off. We're meeting a friend at Victoria at 1pm and tagging on to the back half (it's not like we're going to have missed it by being late).

Had a very lazy morning which is nice as we've had a crazy busy week. Dog walk and food shop this afternoon then might be a bad parent and go to the pub for an hour (ds loves it as he gets to watch sports, play cards and eat crisps!)

Then takeaway and rubbish telly tonight. Perfect.

I will spend the day 'concerned' about the Brexit vote.

Still sitting in bed, tho, with a teensy bit of a hangover 😂 but it was worth it.

We've conceded that the DCs are knackered and grumpy and plonked them in front of the telly this afternoon. They managed their clubs to be fair. I may just pour myself a glass of something fizzy 🥂

Have been for a wander round the garden Center and have just baked brownies and made sweet potato soups..other than that having a restful day!

Taken DC to their activities, tidied the kitchen in a bare minimum kind of way. Going Out Out tonight, but would rather be at home with a take away and box set.

Got up, couldn't face walking both reluctant DDs to the pool for DD1's swimming lesson and entertaining DD2 through it and walking home again so didn't, washed hair, tried to do some tidying but everywhere immediately looked just as messy again, eventually persuaded DDs to get dressed, lunch, went to library, made DD1 do homework, started writing DD2's party invitations. Need to cook dinner in a minute, do dinner, wash DDs' hair, put them to bed, finish writing party invitations. DH is going to the supermarket later then he is going to the cinema to see a film I don't really want to see. I also really need to read more of The Testaments tonight because in about 10 days I am going to see Margaret Atwood talk and I am sure she will talk about the book and I've still got quite a lot of it to get through.

DC's sports matches this morning. Now chilling out at home, cooking supper and will all watch Strictly tonight.

@happypotamus are you enjoying the Testaments? I've read The Handmaid's Tale and Oryx and Crake, is it similar to those?

I went into school this morning 10-12 as we had an open morning, for prospective parents Left DP watching the rugby.

After that I went to pick my oldest friend up and we went out to a country pub for lunch and a catch up.

Currently sat on the sofa just chilling and listening to music.

We're off to my cousins 50th birthday party this evening.

Went to a class at the gym this morning. Then went to Costco with DH and DD. Came home, lunch while DD napped, then out again to hobbycraft (which she loved, she's only 2!) for xmas gear.
