I'm meeting a family member on Monday at international arrivals in Glasgow, who won't have a working phone just to make it that much more fun. Will have dh and dc waiting in car and thinking short stay 2 until I know he's landed but need an idiot proof place to send him to so I can meet him there and rush him in the car!

Dh says there might be a WHSmith he thinks he remembers from years ago Hmm so I'm hoping someone who has been there recently can tell me if there's anywhere easily found by us both that he can wait for me to nip in and get him?

🤞

There’s a wee cafe right where he arrives (in between the arrivals door and the exit). Can’t miss it. And you could wait there and have a sneaky wee cuppa ;-)

Or meet at Starbucks-internationally recognised 😃

Thank you so much @Toodeloo

I'll tell him to wait there.
Had thought he get a train to Waverley which is way more accessible for us but our mum almost had a heart attack. How can I ask my 26 yo db to get a bus and train and get lost and snatched by paedophiles so far from home hes only lived abroad for 6 months with his heavy suitcase too, oh her baby boy. Grin She'll be over the moon thank you!

Starbucks is at domestic arrivals so I’d say simply the bank of chairs at international arrivals they look onto the door from baggage exit

International arrivals area isn’t huge. There’s one coffee shop (not Starbucks, that’s at domestic arrivals). To be honest, even if he did wander along to Starbucks it’s only 2mins walk in same building. Parking costs a small fortune, like all other airports. Track his flight and if it’s delayed go to Braehead with the kids and then nip along when flight lands.
