I love it. You can all take turns to come and stay on your holidays if you chip in.

You selling it? Grin

Kerning · 18/10/2019 22:34

Is that price for real?!

dalmatianmad · 18/10/2019 22:34

Those views!

BrunetteFrenchTwist · 18/10/2019 22:34

I wish. Current view is of some extremely attractive bin sheds!

I actually know the area well and it’s absolutely stunning - even when it’s pissing down.

Trouble is, you’re an hour away from the nearest supermarket and there is fuck all work. Well, there is but it‘s a mish mash of part time fishing / cleaning / distillery working / crofting.

Good place to go and write The Novel though. Or retire (as a Blow In Wink)

AnOojamaflip · 18/10/2019 22:37

Ooh, I could manage to sit at that outdoor table and look at the view!!

I was just having a bit of a perv at property myself. Was enjoying the special alone time. But sure I'll share this one:

AnOojamaflip · 18/10/2019 22:38

Bit more expensive mind!!

Summertime2 · 18/10/2019 22:39

Were those photos taken on the one day

in the last year it wasn't raining?

BrunetteFrenchTwist · 18/10/2019 22:40

Trouble is, you’re an hour away from the nearest supermarket and there is fuck all work.

Grin Won't be a bother, as I'll need to win the Euromillions to get it in the first place Grin

Yours is too grand for me AnOon. Wow!

Can’t think of anything worse, I’d be going stir crazy by lunchtime. Give me city centre penthouse any day.

AnOojamaflip · 18/10/2019 22:43

Well once you've complete your award winning novel in the rural hideaway you could but the urban grand house to do magazine shoot in.

Good to have a plan!!

Ohyesiam · 18/10/2019 22:43

I really love that part of the world, but to me that house is properly horrible.

I’m also usually a big fan of light and space, so I don’t quite know what they are getting wrong, but I know I don’t like it.

AnOojamaflip · 18/10/2019 22:43

But = buy

Be1atrix · 18/10/2019 22:48

I love that house. I'd retire there with my gorgeous other half and live by the sea for the rest of our days. YES!

SciFiScream · 18/10/2019 22:48

I don't think we should be using the word porn for this.

The word has become normalised in property porn and food porn and is now used to describe a crime involving children.

I'm trying to stop people using the word and "de-normalise" it if I can.

What about property passion?

Property erotica?

Horny for homes?

Be1atrix · 18/10/2019 22:48

(Where I live that money would buy you a 1 bed flat)

SinglePringle · 18/10/2019 22:56

Ohyesiam I think it’s badly decorated - too similar to a good chain hotel trying to do Soho Farmhouse for the masses.

Milomonster · 19/10/2019 07:31

Gorgeous part of the world but that’s a clinical-looking house.

Sunnysidegold · 19/10/2019 07:33

Can't work out if the Dublin one is a mini hotel or not. I would love a pool with a slide though!

Property erotica really rolls off the tongue! Love it.

Another one here not overwhelmed by either property.

First one was weird. Parts of it I loved and then other parts looked a bit odd. The downstairs with a tiny dining room table in the giant room and then loads of kind of small bedrooms. And no thanks to the sloping ceilings. Did that for 8 years. Never again.

The second house is too extreme for me but I would probably be able to get over that for the pool and cinema...

Scarlett555 · 19/10/2019 07:55

Interesting what space you could get for the same price in Pimlico.

Always fancied sleeping 5cm from my washing machine:

LazyDaisey · 19/10/2019 07:56

That newspaper is hilarious. Take a look at this stunning mansion... and first page shows some sort of an outbuilding, a tiny cheap looking en-suite, and a small plain beige bathroom with bath you’d find in a 2 bed semi.

FredaFrogspawn · 19/10/2019 08:05

The peace and quiet of the first link... wow.

But it could get a bit isolating and I bet it rains a lot. The house is lovely and airy - needs a personal touch and well presented as neutral for sale.

The bed-in-the-kitchen studio (studio sounds so much more glam than bedsit which is what we would have called that set up in the past) - why on earth do a breakfast bar like that when there’s no room to sit at it and have a bed? Crazy.
