Things you eat from the packet/pot that you shouldn't?

Nutella is the obvious one, straight from the spoon but my sil just called me weird for eating coleslaw straight from the pot.

Am I the only one who does that? Is there anything else that is best straight from the pot.

Cream.

HereIGoAgainAndAgainAndAgain · 18/10/2019 18:54

Syrup and Nutella for sweet tooth
Oxo cubes (beef) for savoury tooth!

Mustrryharder · 18/10/2019 18:56

Lemon marmalade
Strawberry jam
Tomato puree
Paxo stuffing (with water)
A teaspoon of lurpack 🙈

surlycurly · 18/10/2019 18:57

Frozen peas. Forgot about them. Love them!

weeblefeet · 18/10/2019 18:57

Horlicks powder

ShinyGiratina · 18/10/2019 18:57

Ambrosia custard
Tinned fruit
Not together!

grisen · 18/10/2019 18:59

Tomato puree, I've been known to buy it to eat it out of the tin. Funnily enough I hate ketchup and most tomato products. Also dried tortellini. And spreadable cheese.

NotquitewhatImeant · 18/10/2019 19:00

Yy to dried tortellini (the four cheese one yum)
Stock cubes
Random cheese off pizza
Horlicks

Once sat opposite a man in a suit on tube who ate whole tub of coleslaw with his fingers, kept licking them too. Grim.

BillywigSting · 18/10/2019 19:02

Old el paso refried beans. I may or may not buy an extra tin occasionally to just scarf when I'm ravenous after a night shift.

Custard, baked beans and rice pudding all straight from the tin with a spoon

Grated cheese straight from the packet, just a pinch while I'm making sandwiches or wraps etc

Beetroot and mint dip by the spoonful. I ate an entire tub of it in a day once accidentally by just pinching a couple of spoonfuls every time I opened the fridge.

Frozen petit pois by the handful (almost better frozen than cooked)

I'm also partial to raw broccoli but it disagrees with me in a big way so I tend to steer clear of it now (I could eat a whole one cooked quite happily stalk and all)

ItsClemFandangoCanYouHearMe · 18/10/2019 19:03

Salsa

Firstaidnovice · 18/10/2019 19:05

I haven't done it for about twenty years, but raw supernoodles. Incredibly savage.

I also one got caught by my mum as quite a young child eating mincemeat direct from the jar

FreshwaterBay · 18/10/2019 19:11

Crisps. They are definitely better out of the packet rather than putting into a saucepan.

WideOpenFields · 18/10/2019 19:16

Evaporated milk! I swig it from the tin.
Condensed milk.

MsMustDoBetter · 18/10/2019 19:17

Gherkins
Cream cheese

P1nkHeartLovesCake · 18/10/2019 19:20

I’ve been known to eat lemon curd with a spoon!

DH eats horseradish by the spoonful, weirdo that he is 🤮

PrincessSarene · 18/10/2019 19:20

Heinz macaroni cheese 😳 (and I don’t even like it warm! Buy it for my DD but always scoff a bit while I’m getting it ready for her!)

SamBeckett · 18/10/2019 19:21

Crom the cupboard;
Baked beans
Corn
Peanut butter
Marmite
Lime marmalade
Pickles/ gerkins

From the fridge
Any cheese daft enough to make it's self visible
Coleslaw
Any leftovers
Peppers ( I eat them like a apple when the fancy takes me )

SamBeckett · 18/10/2019 19:21

from the cupboard 🙄

LocksMyth · 18/10/2019 19:23

Ambrosia Custard

Crochetymum · 18/10/2019 20:01

Custard , coleslaw, potato salad , ice-cream, crunchy but, ANY cheese, cut up in blocks. Mash from the pan before I put it on the plates.☺️

Crochetymum · 18/10/2019 20:02

And yes to the condensed milk, I can't have that in my house, it's lethal!

GingerFoxInAT0phat · 18/10/2019 20:11

I’ve bought a tin of condensed milk today to have a few sneaky swigs of, but I have caught ds’s stomach bug and can only imagine what would be coming out of me later.

Ilovemyshoppingtrolley · 18/10/2019 20:16

Heinz tomato soup!

ChanChanChan · 18/10/2019 20:16

Ham, whilst standing in the doorway of the open fridge. Tastes better like that.

Talkallday · 18/10/2019 20:22

Coleslaw
Marmite
Hummus
Cheese - especially Stilton
Olives
Cold tinned tomatoes
