Anyone work 25hours?

I’ve just been offered a flexible job, 25hours a week... but I don’t know how to split the hours! So I was just wondering what works for other people Smile
I have DCs at primary & secondary school, the primary age DC can use breakfast club/after school club facilities. My other DC can walk to & from their bus so no issues there.
I need at least 1 full day a week to deal with a business I run & would obviously like time during the week to do housework, shopping etc without the DC around. Leaving weekends to just be family time.
DH works away at least one night a week & has a demanding, but fairly flexible role.
Just wondering what other people do?

I do 28 - three full days and one school day. Can you do two full days, a shorter day and a school day?

I do two 8-6 and one half day, which is either an early or late shift.
I'm a nurse.

I do 24 hours a week, have complete flexibility to do the hours as I choose, generally do four x 6 hour days (suits me as no DC at home & tiring to work a full day Grin). But if I want more time off in the week I do 3 x 8 hour days (no lunch break).

I do my hours over 4 days and it's perfect.
8:30 to 3:30, 3 days a week and 9 to 2:30 one day.

Also take either a Friday or Monday as your 3rd day off, ideally Friday as then you'll have the added bonus of 4 day bank holiday weekends.

I've done 24 for years and arranged it so I could be there for the kids every school day (they could walk there and back themselves by then, so if leave when they did and get home when they did. I've never cared about being able to shop and clean without them around.
