Back in August 2008 went to visit a mill in either cardigan or Carmarthenshire or Pembrokeshire - it was a mill historically but they'd opened it as a tourist attraction. Any ideas on where it was?

Carew Mill or Blackpool Mill in Pembs.

Carew Mill is by the Castle and is still open.

Sadly Blackpool Mill has closed and been left to decay.
Blackpool Mill is in woods and had a little tearoom at the side.

Aw!! Thanks so much for responding. My instincts tell me it is actually Blackpool Mill as I think it was in woods - I will now madly google for any evidence!

Blackpool Mill is lovely. It’s near Oakwood and Bluestone.
There are walks through the woods and the old leat.

Another possibility is the National Wool Museum In Llandysul although that’s in a village not woods.

Thanks I think it was Blackpool but don't know for sure. It says it opened following restoration in 1968 to public but no indications when it closed

Not Tregwynt more like Blackpool
Mill in terms of building style
