Thanks you lovely lot! Intermittent muscle spasms meaning sleep is impossible- have tried all my emergency meds and nothing working so a sleepless night until the doctor is open. Any chat or amusing stories welcome!

I'm up. Similar pain at the back of my neck and top of spine

I'm an insomniac anyway. Sigh.

It's rubbish isn't it? I have constant low level pain but every six months or so I get a crisis. It's the small patches of relief between the pain that kills me, you could almost fall asleep and then the spasm hits again. Also suffering with post viral fatigue so feeling pretty rotten, and whiny so I appreciate kind words. I hope you feel better soon.

Oh I don't think I've got anything amusing.

But I slept with my brother earlier!

(Being a bit sick) our parent got taken into hospital heart so we just fell asleep whilst we were getting told to get out the way.

And my bank were brilliant earlier and wanted to write a letter saying 'served by lovely efficient male and female...' then hesitated and wondered what if they weren't? Or self identified in a different way? Really confusing. I'll have to say 2 lovely people.

Me I’m awake - semi insomniac, but also fretting over a situation at DC school 😒 The situation can really only be solved financially which they can’t readily do as it’s a small cash-strapped independent, but in the meantime (and as a paying customer) I'm worried DC’s education/experience of school will suffer 😔

Sorry it’s not a very amusing story! Hope everyone in pain can get some sleep tonight and function at some level tomorrow (I’ll be needing copious amounts of coffee, whatever at this rate 👀)
