Hello all.
I never do this as generally am so busy but I feel like I need some reassurance (hopefully) from you guys that I am actually doing an ok job.
I live inside an oxford college which means everyone is living on top of one another. An anonymous complaint has been made about my husbands parenting, one which has said he called our daughter a C*nt. this never happened (we make a point in the first place of never swearing in front of our children) but nevertheless the college has to follow due course and we have to talk to social services.
We are devastated about this and worry that if one false accusation has been made what will stop more coming our way. I am not allowed to know who made the accusation so feel like I am now living under a microscope and can’t parent my children the way I see appropriate as I fear persecution from outsiders that feel they may know better.
I just don’t know if I should accept this punishment or find a way to accept or fight back. The situation just feels untenable at the moment.
Any advice would be appreciated.
