Belly piercings?

I travel a lot for work to hot countries, and spend a majority of my time in swimwear. I absolutely love the look of belly piercings and i would love to get one done, especially seeing as my belly is always out! Blush

Just wondered if anybody had one and had any advice etc? One big thing for me were the high waisted jeans issue? Apparently they can easily catch on the piercing and rip it out Confused is this true?

I had mine done years ago too and bottom, never had any problems with it catching on clothes. With trousers I just made sure I pulled them out then over my belly button so I didn't catch it.

@judgemeallyouwant Thats what i were thinking.. people always exaggerate online. Surely if you're careful it isn't too big of a deal.

I've had mine done twice.

First time was a ring and it just didn't sit right so I took it out.
I now have a bar and it's been in over 13 years now.

The only time I have issues is when I'm having one of my crappier periods. It hurts then for some reason, but it's not every month.

I forget mine is even done most of the time.

I forgot mine were there most of the time. People always have to give you the worst version of what's happened. Just make sure when it's healed you put a bar in that isn't too big as you're more likely to catch it then.

I had two (top and bottom) though the bottom one came out earlier this year. I will have it done again later.

Sometimes they can catch while healing, had this happen myself and with some friends. I suppose it depends what your wearing and if your sat down a lot, our job meant your hunched over all day.A plaster with slit in it so the bobble sits on the plaster works wonders.

Though majority of people I know have not had problems. Both of mine were fine all through pregnancy though I got some plastic ones put in

I have a top piercing and a bottom one had it done about four weeks ago (the bottom one) and it's healed already, bottom hurt more than the top one but there so worth it

I've had one for 20 odd years. Sometimes when I sit or wear a tight waistband i have to move it about to make it sit comfortably, but no problem at all, healed well when it was done.

I've got a top piercing that I've never caught on clothing. I forget it's there to be honest! Had it for eons.
